Dr. Eric Brown
Dr. Eric Brown is a graduate of Western Oregon University and received
his DVM at St. George's University. He completed a clinical training year at Purdue University
in LaFayette, Indiana, and is an alumnus of the Peace Corps in Panama. Dr. Brown came to work at Animal Medical Care (AMC) as a
veterinarian in March 2011. Having grown up at AMC (his father is the late Dr. Steven R. Brown), he
has worn many hats over the years. In July 2012, he purchased Animal Medical Care.
He is on the board of Oregon Coast Therapy Animals (OCTA) and is staff vet for the Oregon
Coast Aquarium (OCAQ).
Dr. Brown and his wife, Kim, have a son, Benjamin. They also have one fur baby: Roxie,
a cat, as well as 9 chickens. Dr. Brown enjoys many outdoor activities especially fishing.

Dr. Steen Smith
Animal Medical Care of Newport, PC welcomes Dr. Steen E. Smith to its staff. Dr. Smith completed his undergraduate education
at Western Oregon University and attended veterinary school at Oregon State University. Prior to attending veterinary school,
he worked as a certified veterinary technician at Animal Medical Care.
Dr. Smith is excited by the opportunities to treat a wide variety of species that veterinary medicine affords.
His professional focus is general veterinary medicine and surgery with interests in both large animal and small animal medicine.
He grew up in Corvallis and is proud to be an Oregonian. Outside of work he enjoys outdoor pursuits, especially hunting and fishing.
Dr. Smith is excited to establish new relationships and contribute to the community here on the central coast.

Tim J. Miller-Morgan
Dr. Timothy J. Miller-Morgan, DVM, originally from Seattle, Washington is a 1995 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Washington State University. He joined Animal Medical Care as a part-time clinician in June 1997 with a focus on aquatic animal medicine. He is also on the faculty at the College of Veterinary medicine at Oregon State University and the Aquarium Science Program at Oregon Coast Community College. Dr. Miller-Morgan enjoys the challenges working with a wide variety of aquatic species, teaching future aquarists and veterinarians and working with industry nationally and internationally to improve aquatic health.
